Swaranubhooti Gurukul
In 2002, Amita established a Hindustani Classical Music school– Swaranubhooti Gurukul– to pass on the valuable treasure of Hindustani Abhijaat Sangeet. Through this, Amita trains students at all stages of their musical journey. She encourages an environment where learning not only takes place during class but also outside of it through reflection, riyaaz, and listening. As a result, there are over a 100 disciples learning at Swaranubhooti Gurukul.
Swaranubhooti Gurukul has been offering Hindustani Classical Music lessons for over 20 years. Swaranubhooti Gurukul's music learning center is located in Mulund, Mumbai (India). With individual sessions and group batches, she has been able to cater to students from all over the world through offline and online batches. Amita also conducts occasional workshops for the students on relevant topics such as "Voice Culture", "How to do Riyaaz" etc.
